The American Republic is blessed by a foundation of firsts in human history.
This geography we settled, set between two vast oceans and blessed with abundant natural resources is unlike any in the world. Our peoples and our culture, a culture of swagger and innovation, grit and determination, is unlike any on earth, only possible when populated by citizenry from every other country in the world. Our capital markets, our talent, our entrepreneurship provides for an economic engine which drives the world and represents to the world that “City Upon A Hill”, a beacon of hope and possibility.
To whom much is given, much is expected. An engaged citizenry has been foundational and leadership from amongst our best and brightest has been essential to sustaining the growth of our republic.
History tells us that this is required for our very survival. Unfortunately, the last 50 years has shown a significant decline in civic engagement in our country. The rise of cultural marxism, the increase in always on communication through social channels, and a series of other trends have led to an apathy and a fear.
This disengagement has led to many of the challenges our states and our nation confront today. These challenges don’t arise overnight. They take time to grow and they will take time to tackle.
At The Citizen Farmers, we are calling on our friends who lead in commerce to lead in community and country. We are cultivating America’s future leadership by teaching our children about their required stewardship for this nation, we are committing to spending more time understanding and serving in our own communities, and we are financially supporting the rebirth of always on grassroots political infrastructure in key communities to impact electoral participation and outcomes.
