Imagine a Saturday in June. A few neighbors meet at the park with rakes and extra gloves. Someone brings coffee. Kids plant flowers by the playground.
Before everyone leaves, you set a date for the school-supply drop-off and thank the people who showed up. That is the whole thing.
A morning in May. Flags go in the ground before Memorial Day, one at a time, and then everyone stands at the memorial for a few minutes and someone says thank you out loud. No program, no podium. Just the people who came.
You do not have to invent a movement to make a day like that happen. This is not a campaign and it is not a party project — it is a year-round community group in your town. You set the table. Friends help you fill it. We bring the templates, the invitations, the checklists, and the folding chairs.
